My hope for you, is that some "lights came on", in better understanding the process of creating Julia fractals. The purpose was to share what I have learned using this program and to hopefully open some new "doors" for you in exploring this incredible digital art form! If I can offer any advice, it would be to be patient! Take your time in experimenting. Try new approaches. Change small variables and observe the changes. And buy yourself a bigger hard drive to save all your new fractals! Enjoy! On the lower part of this page, you can see our original fractal image and the changes we created from this one formula! |

My thanks to Stephen Ferguson for this wonderful program he has generously shared, his graciousness in allowing me to distribute his program from this site and his patience in answering the questions I have posed to him. This program has allowed me to explore a new medium of creative expression that has brought me much enjoyment and hopefully you too! If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, feel free to E-mail me and I will do my best to answer them. Keep in mind however, my mantra for this site, "I am NOT a mathematician!" |
