Since 1998 Amazing Seattle Fractals has provided extensive information about the art form of fractals. You will find fractal art galleries, information on how to create your own fractals in the fractal tutorials, links to fractal software programs, and other fractal resources, all intended to help you enjoy, and explore, this amazing art form.
What is a fractal? Fractals are a unique, digital art form, created from mathematical formulas using computer software. These mathematical formulas are generated in a fractal software program and result in graphical representations, or images, of an astounding diversity of form, detail, color and light. I believe you will agree as you view this contemporary digital art form, that these images truly are amazing! For additional info on what fractals are, click Here
There are many excellent fractal resources available on the internet, including this one! ;-) On the fractal resources page I have listed a number of links to what I consider interesting and useful fractal information and websites.
These fractal resources include other tutorials, educational information, and interesting sites about different aspects of what fractals are, their implications in science etc. These range from the novice to the technical, and you should be able to find fractal sites of interest no matter your level of understanding, or interest in, this amazing discovery.
Although I don't find the time to update the website as much as I would like, I will be adding galleries of new fractal art for 2018 soon. The art galleries from the past couple of years now offer larger thumbnails & larger full size images, which will enhance your view of the amazing detail contained in these fractal images. I am hoping to find the time soon to update the website with a new design that will be more mobile & device friendly as well, time permitting! You can find the my fractal art galleries dating back to 1998 from my Fractal Art Galleries page. I hope you enjoy the art!
